Festive blitz-cantatas by Bach and Pergolesi, and timeless classics from Mozart: In Krakow, countertenor Andreas Scholl, soprano Sarah Traubel and an ensemble of musicians from Vienna pay tribute to the late Pope John Paul II. Arvo Pärt's "Vater Unser" ("Our Father"), the core of the evening's program, and the composer has reworked the piece for Andreas Scholl. It's a work that was also performed to mark the inauguration of Pope Benedict. Recorded on June 15th.
