For this opening concert, the ambitious young orchestra gathers together great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven and Philip Glass alongside fascinating newcomers like Sverre Indris Joner and Marzi Nyman, whose works and arrangements bring new perspectives to familiar musical themes. The Festival O/Modernt combines modern cultural practices with "old masters" – accordingly, dancers and instrumentalists from around the world have been invited to Stockholm for this opening concert.

A production of the Festival O/Modernt.
