Back
{{ message.content }}

Valery Gergiev and the Munich Philharmonic open their concert with the funeral march for the anarchic hero of Richard Wagner's Ring of the Nibelung. This is followed by a new work by Wolfgang Rihm. And finally, there is probably no conductor in the world today better qualified than Gergiev to take on the colorful, conflicted sonic world of Russian composer Shostakovich.

In cooperation with Kölner Philharmonie – Kölner Philharmonie.tv.
