Julian Rachlin and the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien illuminate a beloved fixture of the repertoire: Mendelssohn's E minor Violin Concerto was a huge success from the very start, a real bravura work. Mendelssohn composed solos which incorporated both dialogues with the orchestra and energetic individual passages. Rachlin performs here as both soloist and conductor – bringing with him extensive experience in both roles.

In cooperation with the Grafenegg Festival.
