{{ message.content }}

From the Schinkel Pavilion in Berlin, takt1 brings live French Chamber Music live into your living room: Violinist Christian Tetzlaff meets Francesco Piemontesi on piano. In César Franck’s work in A Major and its wistfully descending thirds, the most meaningful French Violin Sonata of Fin de siècle resounds. Excerpts from Debussy’s Images complete the program, which could carry off our thoughts in these serious times into an unreal dream.

A co-production with Naxos Audiovisuell, PARS Media and Schinkel Pavillon.

takt1 Call for Donations

Musicians are faced with big problems due to the coronavirus. The crisis is hitting freelance artists especially hard because they cannot perform – and are faced with massive financial and existential problems. The German Orchestra Foundation (Deutsche Orchesterstiftung) is going help with an emergency fund. Please help as well; every donation counts.
