A real highlight to close the series broadcast live on takt1: in the tenth Home Music Berlin concert, lyric baritone Roman Trekel will be singing Gustav Mahler's Sieben Lieder aus letzter Zeit at the Schinkel Pavillon. Francesco Piemontesi will join him not only to provide congenial accompaniment, but also to intervene with a series of virtuoso Bach arrangements by Busoni and Wilhelm Kempff. It's truly revelatory to hear Bach's chorales played alongside such great late-romantic reveries.

A coproduction with Naxos Audiovisual, PARS Media and Schinkel Pavillon.
